Please note that at present only applications for the JSPS Post-doctoral Fellowship for Foreign Researchers (Short-Term) can be submitted through the JSPS London Office. All other programmes should be applied for through the JSPS Headquarters or the appropriate UK nominating authority.

Postdoctoral Fellowship for Foreign Researchers (Short-Term Award)

1) Application To JSPS London

Application Method	UK based researchers submit applications to the JSPS London office
Application Periods:	1 June and 1 December
Coverage of Fellowship	Return air ticket Monthly maintenance allowance: ¥362,000 (Post-doc Fellows) ¥200,000 (Doctoral Fellows) Overseas travel accident and sickness insurance coverage Settling-in allowance for tenures of 4 or more months: ¥200,000

Application Method	Applications are submitted by the UK based researcher to the Royal Society or the British Academy.
Application Periods:	25 January to 1 March (Royal Society) 2 November (British Academy)
