Invitational Fellowships for Research in Japan (Short-Term)


This program allows researchers employed in Japanese universities and other research institutions to invite overseas researchers with excellent records of research achievements for short-term visits to Japan and provides them oppotunities to engage in discussions, opinion exchanges, lectures and other activities.

Application Method Applications are submitted by the host researcher in Japan to JSPS Headquaters.

Fellowship
  • Return air ticket
  • Per diem: ¥18,000
  • Research support allowance: ¥150,000
  • Overseas travel, accident and sickness insurance coverage
