Results of the JSPS 80th Anniversary Photo Competition

In the categories of "Research", "Arts and Culture" and "Travel" 2 entries have been selected for a prize and in the category of "Vintage" no selections for an award have been made. The winners and their photos are detailed below:
Winner of the Research Category is Dr. Angus Davison, University of Nottingham for his photo titled “Mirror Image Snails.”
Runner-up of the Research Category is Ms. Maria Prantsidou, University of Manchester of her photo titled “Humid Argon Dielectric Barrier Discharge.”
Winner of the Arts and Culture Category is Dr. Queenie Chan, Imperial College London for her photo titled “Pure.”
Runner-up of the Arts and Culture Category is Dr. Sanjay Rana, University College London for his photo titled “Adult Comic Fans.”
Winner of the Travel Category is Dr. Lubna Ahmed, St. Mary’s University College for her photo titled “Gaijin.”
Runner-up of the Travel Category is Dr. Tim Jukes, University of Nottingham for his photo titled “Shibuya.”
