(Door open:8:30AM-)

Venue: Imperial College London – Flowers Building, G47A, South Kensington Campus, London SW7 2AZ

This seminar is supported by the JSPS London Symposium and Seminar Scheme.

The seminar event, “Integrating Biological Sciences and AI for Next- Generation Immunotherapy,” is scheduled for 22nd July 2025 at Imperial College London, ranked 9th globally. It brings together leading researchers from the UK and Japan across multiple disciplines—Immunology, Molecular Biology, Virology, and Computational Science/AI—to drive innovations in immunotherapy.
Immunotherapy has emerged as a major breakthrough in cancer treatment, recognised by the 2018 Nobel Prize. Historically, Japan has made significant contributions to immunology research, including key discoveries that paved the way for modern immunotherapy. Yet, there is a growing need for more integrated, cross-disciplinary collaborations to tackle the complexity of the immune system. This seminar aims to spark new bilateral dialogues between the UK and Japan, uniting scientific strengths and resources to foster novel therapeutic strategies and approaches.
